Honoring the Judiciary of

Orange & Sullivan Counties.

This year the WBAOSC held its annual Judicial Reception at the Fountains at Wallkill on November 17, 2011. This year we honored retiring Supreme Court Justice John McGuirk and thanked him for his many years of service to the Orange County Judiciary.  It was a terrific night and a well attended event. The WBAOSC Foundation held its traditional basket raffle raising funds for our Scholarship Program. Thank you to all who attended.

Some of our attendees included, Administrative Judge for the 9th Judicial District, Alan Scheinkman, Retiring Supreme Court Justice John McGuirk, Retired Supreme Court Justice Bill Sherwood, Supreme Court Justices, Elaine Slobod, Lawrence Ecker and Justice of the Appellate Division, Jeffrey Cohen. Also attending were County Court Judges Jeffrey Berry and Robert Freehill, Surrogate Court Judge Robert Onofry, Sullivan County Judges, Mark Meddaugh, Burt Ledina and County Court Judge Michael McGuire.

Administrative Judge Scheinkman said a few words and addressed concerns of the bar regarding Court room issues in Orange County.
